A: Wakefield is a planned 774-acre mixed-use development located between downtown Troutman and downtown Statesville, North Carolina. The organization selected Prestige from a group of local and national builders and sold a significant portion of its property for the development while retaining approximately 70 acres for their ongoing foster care operations.

A: Yes. Prestige and Children’s Hope Alliance are working together to preserve important landmark buildings on the property. These buildings are envisioned for future community uses such as a coffee shop, farmers market, and gathering spaces that celebrate the site’s history.
